This year improving gut health is high on the agenda and you can expect to find added probiotics – which are said to be beneficial – in everything from snacks to superfoods. Incorporating fibre-rich foods into your diet can also help to reboot your digestive system, but be careful not to go overboard.

From ashwagandha to curcumin, beauty is turning to holistic health and non-toxic remedies rooted in Ayurveda – an ancient Sanskrit tradition whose name roughly translates as ‘science of life’. The Ayurvedic approach to beauty is one that balances and boosts your overall health, but also promotes wellbeing from the inside out. Expect an influx of immunity-boosting herbs, essential oils that aim to restore top-to-toe glow, and turmeric – lots and lots of turmeric.
